When small or large crowds gather for public events there needs to be effective professional Event Medical Cover in place to ensure people’s safety and well-being is not at risk. 

Nationwide Ambulance Service Ltd can provide basic or extensive professional Event Medical Cover at your event.

Through our experience within the events sector, we are able to offer you complete medical provision, from initial planning through to debriefing and reporting.

Good practice indicates that organisers need to:

• Ensure that there is an appropriate level of Event Medical Cover is in place at their event.

• Undertake a Event Medical Risk Assessment. 

• An Event Medical Plan should be made prior to the event to ensure that Event Medical Services are deployed appropriately.

• Event Medical Cover should be provided for the full duration of the event. 

We won't just turn up and provide top cover! We will work with you and provide you with your Event Medical Plans and Risk Assessments and if necessary we will attend your SAG (Safety Advisory Group) meeting with you to answer any questions related to the Event Medical Cover we would be providing. 

During the event, we will endeavor to ensure that your event runs smoothly. Our Duty Officer will be the primary point of contact for your representative or health and safety officer. They will manage all of Nationwide Ambulance Service Ltd's resources and will liaise with you if needed.

Should there be any areas of concern, for example, if there is a pattern of accident or illness at a given part of the event, we will bring this to your attention.

After the event has taken place will provide you with a Post Event Report which gives you a timeline of incidents that have happened during your event. This will help you with future planning of your event.
